Our little Ava Joan arrived a month early on December 8th, the new best day of my life! We stayed in the hospital a few extra days because she needed to be monitored and get a little extra help eating from a feeding tube, but are home now and LOVING every moment of our time together. I will write an update in the next week or so about the whole labor and delivery, which was FULL of surprises, but first I need to revamp my brain with some sleep

- Many a diaper has already been changed here, and I have to say, so far Pampers have been better than Huggies!

- Thankfully my parents set our nursery up while we were in the hospital…one of the many things they have done to help. It is still pretty bare bones in there so our goal is to have it finished by her due date.
