While my body continues to expand in many different directions, I am trying to come up with little, inexpensive ways to pamper myself. I’ve enjoyed being pregnant the past 29 weeks, but am starting to feel a little less beautiful and a lot more, um, stretched. It’s hard to imagine what my belly is going to look like 11 weeks from now…it already feels so big!
Well, instead of thinking about how much bigger I am going to get with each passing week, I am going to think of wonderful ways to make myself feel good. Starting with shaving my legs…haha! As silly as it sounds, shaving took the back seat for a while, because bending over in a steamy and hot shower was making me feel a little nauseous. But let me tell you, nothing drains the sexy out of you like feeling big and then adding in hairy. So, shaving is once again a priority. Where do the carrots come in, you ask?
I decided I want to spend my last trimester with the fabled pregnancy glow (not natural to everyone apparently!), so I invested in a body butter that I found last year and LOVED. Say Yes To Carrots Body Butter is one of my new inexpensive pampering treats (found at Wallgreens) that makes me feel fabulous. I exfoliate in the shower and then butter myself up—a little goes a long way—from my neck down to my toes. Even if your not preggers, you’ve got to try this. I actually stuck out my forearm the other day and demanded that two of my coworkers touch my arm to feel how soft it made me, yeah, I am that weird, but also that impressed!
